Erica Schwartz-Hall
“My passion is to co-create a safe space on the sharp edge of change. That ‘safe-space’ is required for meaningful individual and team development.”
Erica Schwartz-Hall is an UpSpiral Leadership® Leadership Advancement Architect who helps leaders shine their light on the world allowing each individual to develop their best selves and generate their best work. From leaders at MARS Incorporated, to actors on Broadway, to Project Management at Doctors without Borders, Erica has professionally coached over 2200 hours and managed over 400 people. Erica works with leaders to align their mental, emotional and somatic levels of wisdom. This alignment enables leaders to actively connect intention and action to drive engagement and accelerate development in all aspects of their life.
For 6 years, Erica coached more than 500 leaders in connection with Leadership@MARS 2 North America working with a diversity of talented managers from shift leads in Mars manufacturing plants to Global Sales Directors, from Medical Directors for Banfield Pet Hospitals to IT professionals in Petcare. The focus of the coaching was on self-development, development of team and team members.
Erica believes in democratizing leadership - that people everywhere regardless of situation should have access to leadership development. To that end she has worked with Maplewood Leadership Development, a group that provides leadership programs on a sliding scale to communities in NJ. She also coaches in Ethiopia and has co-facilitated TransitionWorks, a ministry for helping people in transition.
She recently trained as a virtual facilitator on the adobe connect platform and has converted face to face learning into interactive virtual learning modules for trust, purpose work and high-performance collaboration.
Prior to coaching, she had a joyous 16 years of theatrical stage management experience in non-profit regional theater and commercial theater on Broadway, Two years as the studio manager for a NYC 3-D design firm and a stint at Doctors Without Borders in NYC. She and her family recently moved to South Pasadena, CA. When not working, Erica loves spending time with her three sons and hubby, reading, cooking, gardening and helping her sons shine their light on the world.
“Erica, was a very good listener. She posed thought provoking questions. Allowed there to be silence and time for me to think and gather my thoughts when needed. Really helped me break through some barriers for what I have been wanting to accomplish with my team.”
“I appreciated how quickly Erica was able to read me and what I needed. She challenged me in very specific and clear ways that kept trust but push me out of my pattern of self-doubt. For a generally overconfident guy, it was impressive to see her pierce through the heart of my insecurities and melt them away.”
“Erica asked great questions, listened and challenged me to challenge myself. She was an excellent sounding board for ideas and helped me to dive deeper into my development goals. She was a great catalyst for thought and provided excellent insights and perspectives.”
